2011 Relay for Life

Erie Bronze & Aluminum employees and their families participated in the 2011 West County Relay for Life on July 22nd and 23rd. Erie Bronze and Aluminum has been a part of this relay since its beginning in 2007. This year has been the biggest relay yet and raised over $100,000. Employees of Erie Bronze & Aluminum are walking not only for a former employee who lost her battle with cancer in 2007 but also for some of our current employees who are now cancer survivors. Employees took part in this overnight fundraiser by walking around the track at Girard High School and participating in activities such as a corn-hole tournament, purse action, root-beer floats, hula hoop contest, and Luminaria ceremony. Erie Bronze & Aluminum helped raise money through various fundraising activities and donations from employees and suppliers. Our employees are looking forward to participating in next year's relay and continuing to help raise money for this very worthwhile cause.
