• We specialize in non-leaded bronze alloys and hard to find aluminum alloys. All alloys used in our foundry's castings are guaranteed to meet specification. Each pour is analyzed on our Spectrograph to ensure proper chemistry. This "in-house" alloying capability ensures actual chemistries are always poured regardless of unforeseen variations in holding time. Additionally, this allows us to work closely with our customers in developing new alloys.

Certification Options
Erie Bronze offers various levels of quality assurance for alloy chemistry.

Nominal Composition: testing the heat of material and adding the necessary additives to bring the material into specification.

Actual Chemistry: testing the heat of material, adding the necessary additives to bring the material into specification and taking a final chemistry coupon at the time of pouring.

Actual Chemistry with Test Bars: testing the heat of material, adding the necessary additives to bring the material into specification, taking a final chemistry coupon at the time of pouring, and pouring test bars for physical property analysis.
